Mariana Vargas was born in Bucaramanga. Santander (Colombia), 1992. She is an outstanding graduated student from ‘Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, where she showed abilities in writing, direction, and art direction. ‘Punta Cana’ is her first professional project. |

Javier Castro
Javier Castro Márquez is a graduate student in Audiovisual Arts from ‘Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga’. During his time in school, he got two nominations in the ‘Festival Universitario de Cine y Audiovisuales el Equinoxio’ for his texts on cinematographic critique. He delve into areas such as writing, direction, and editing. |

Synopsis
80-year-old Agustin lives with his wife and love of his life, Myriam. However, she suffers from Alzheimer’s and has difficulties when it comes to remembering him. One day, in an effort to recall together moments of their youths, Agustin decides to take her on a trip to Punta Cana. Things start to complicate when they arrive to the airport and Agustin realizes he must assume his weaknesses and accept reality. |
