José Pablo Escamilla González Aragón (1988), is a mexican filmmaker graduated from CENTRO de Diseño, Cine y Televisión. Talents Guadalajara alumni, 2013. His shortfilm “El Dolor Fantasma” (The Phantom Pain) was selected in over a dozen of international film festivals. His most recent shortfall “Libélula” (Firefly) premiered internationally at the 67 Berlinale 2017 in Generation. Official selection on Morelia Film Festival and Cinelatino Rencontres de Toulouse. He is developing the feature projects “Adiós a Satán” (Goodspeed Satan) and “La Mujer Dormida” (The Sleeping Woman) |

| Synopsis
Sometimes it’s almost unbearable being alone with your thoughts and feelings. Everyone seems wrapped up in themselves, and no one really listens or pays attention. Ignored by his older brother and parents, Lucas is merely a passive observer during their summer day trip to the country. Only Mónica seems to notices him, but even her interest doesn’t last long. Eventually, Lucas decides to take drastic measures to try to get everyone’s attention. |
