Ricardo Soto studied filmmaking at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico. He did several productions such as “Las Passengers” with this short he won the Short Shorts Film Festival and was selected in competition alongside Apichatpong Weerasethakul on the Pacific Meridian. He has been selected for programs such as Berlinale Talents, Filmmakers Academy of Locarno and MexiCannes. He premiered his first feature “Plastic” at GIFF and Camerimage on 2015.
After that he was selected to the Residency program “Residencia Artistic Berlin 24/7” supported by GIFF, also he won twice Fonca grants.

The Devil is behind Erk Aicrag. He confront his fears and obsessions. Erik is an icon on the electronic music, his dark side made him to leader on of the most emblematic and polemics bands in Mexico, Hocico. He has more than 20 years on the underground scene, this a portrait about him and his alter ego.
