Sinopsis

The construction of a house designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando on the beaches of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca (Mexico), frames the story of six characters and their reflections about the world. People faced with their own existence, the sun at its zenith and a vast ocean, paint the incredible process of an architectural work.
Among a large number of construction workers, we find a group of different characters which share the harshness of facing the reality of living. Coral, an 8 year old girl, every day when she gets out of school, heads to the construction to meet her godfather Diego who works as a builder.
A cell pone addict, Diego is the leader at a music band which sees life with a melancholic gaze. Quiet, observant and a humorist, Diego has an affair with Paulina, a young woman who Works as an assistant in the dining room of the construction; a restless and adaring girl in matters of love. Diego is in charge of her goddaughter Coral in the afternoons due to her parent’s jobs.
She spends hours waiting for diego to taker home, killing time creating her own Works of art with sticks, toys and different objects which she collects during her long walks at the beach.
