Born in 1980 in Rize, Turkey studied law at Marmara University in Istanbul, but never practiced.
After working as a writer on television and as a DJ on a radio station, she started producing, writing and conducting a television program for the cinema called “En Heyecanli Yeri / Climax”, which aired for almost ten years.
In addition, he produced some television programs of art and culture.
His film reviews were published in various magazines, newspapers, catalogs of festivals and web pages.
He wrote a book of interviews and memoirs called “Dikkat Çekim Var! / Silence We’re Rolling!” And was published in 2013.
He made short films that were premiered at various festivals, including Bratislava Art and Festroia. He also edited behind-the-scenes videos of movie awards, production company and documentary breakthroughs.
His debut film Kaygi / Inflame will premiere the 67th edition of Panorama at the Berlinale.

Hasret’s dreams are haunted by a recurring nightmare, from which she disengages every morning. What she experiences nightly however, are not fictional recreations, but memories. As she returns from her job at a news channel, to a flat left to her after her parents’ death twenty years earlier, the questions slowly begins to creep up: did her parents really die in a car crash?
