Israel Ahumada (Mexico City, 1984). Bachelor of Communication and Journalism by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), enters in 2009 at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica, A.C. (CCC), where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his short film Fausto en la oscuridad (2017). In 2012 he obtains the Support for Short Film Postproduction by the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE) with the project Perdona nuestras ofensas (2013), which was nominated to a Silver Goddess Award as best short fiction film, in addition to having participated in over 30 festivals and international exhibitions. His documentary project Dejar la piel (2017) received the Doculatente Award at the 6º Documentary Lab DOCULAB – FIC Guadalajara.  This recognition consisted in their presence with the project at IDFA Academy on the 27th  International Documentary Festival Amsterdam.

Wanda Seux, one of Mexico’s most emblematic actresses and showgirls during the 80’s, has fallen to an abyss, dragged down by the death of her mother, her solitude, and the passage of time. Wanda, however, struggles every day to rise from that vacuum and walk through that dark tunnel into the light of plenitude.
